Plug types in Malaysia
The type mostly used is the type G (similar to plugs in the UK), three rectangular pins like this :
So if your plugs look different, no worries you'll just need one or two travel adapters!
Where to find adapters
Well, any online shop will have it before your departure. And if it's during your stay in Malaysia you can find them at most shops, for example Mr DIY which is a big chain here and they do the job!
Usually they would look like this, with sometimes USB ports on the sides including the main plug:
